Warranty terms

We offer a warranty of 12 months on all our wooden watches.

The warranty time of 12 months starts with the invoice date. Our warranty is effective worldwide. In case any defects come up in this period of time, we grant you one of the following services within the warranty:

  • free repair of the product or
  • free replacement of the product of defectives goods with an equivalent product (possibly also with the successor model, provided that the original product is not available anymore).

Your message should include the following information:

  • a photo and a description of the defect
  • a photo of the warranty card / the invoice or any other purchase proof (in case you bought your watch directly in our online shop www.laimer.bz also the order number is sufficient)

We reserve the right, to dismiss any warranty claims, in case the purchase cannot be verified or in case damages and defects of the product, came up because of:

  • Improper or incorrect usage of the product, particularly fractures and damages of the glass that arised as a result.
    Attention: All our watches are made of the material wood, which means that they are not as resistant as wristwatches made of metal. We indicate, that the wood can break under excessive exposure of the strap or the case and, therefore, a certain caution when wearing it is assumed.
  • Environmental influences (Moisture, extreme coldness or heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.), particularly damages that arised as a result of humidity and water
  • Non-observance of possible safety precautions
  • Non-observance of the manual
  • Use of Violence, such as beating, striking or falling
  • Unauthorized repair attempts
  • Usual wear and tear and aging of the used materials, as well as changes of the colour or the wood of the product (this point concerns changes of the colour or the structure of the used materials, such as wood, stone, ... as well as the impact of sweat on the used materials, because of the different degree of acidity from person to person).

This listing is not limiting.

The utilisation of the warranty service requires that you enable us the verification of the warranty case by sending us the product. In doing so it is important to take into consideration, that damages during transport are avoided, by an appropriate packaging.

In order to request warranty services, it is necessary to enclose the receipt, invoice or any other clearly verifiable proof of purchase.

We ask for your understanding, that we can dismiss any warranty services without a proof of purchase, as the latter is necessary for the evalutaion of the warranty period.

Please be sure to complete and enclose our Return form, in order to simplify the assignment of the products and, therefore, the request can be processed faster.

Delivery and duration

Provided that the warranty claim is justified, we will render the warranty services within 30 days starting with the arrival of the good. Usually the processing and returning of the repaired product should take around 5-7 working days starting with arrival of the good. The transport costs for the submission of the product within the warranty services are at the expense of us, as long as the submission is made with a return label, that was created by us. A subsequent refund of the transport costs is not possible. The shipping costs of the return of the repaired good to you is at our expense, as long as it is within the warranty services.


  • The granting of warranty claims does not entitle the recipient in any case to the issuance of a new warranty period, if the product is exchanged.
  • We refuse any liability for physical injuries, which arised as a result of the misusage of the product.

Return Policy

If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it to Laimer GmbH within 30 days of purchase date subject to conditions below. 

In order to exercise the return/exchange right it is necessary to communicate your intention to return from this agreement by explicit declaration.

How to proceed

To return items, please read the following points:

Use our contact form and enter as contact reason "return". There are also to apply the order number, the model type and the reason for return. Once the message has arrived at us, one of our customer service representatives will handle it.

All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Close the box and put it in a bag. Please wrap the watch in a sealed pack and send it back to THIS address.

It is the customer responsibility to contact the courier and organize the product collection. The shipment costs are all at the expense of the final client. We recommend sending the package back with a tracking and insurance method. Laimer GmbH is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage regarding the packaging.

All articles received in more than 30 days till the purchase date or containing used watches will be refused.

Refunds & credits

Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. Once we receive and inspect the product we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account.
